Monthly Projects/Reading Logs

Every month a family project and a reading log is sent home. These are just a couple of opporunities to engage with your child and help further their love for working together, self expression, and reading. I ask that both the monthly project and reading logs are returned upon completion. 

 

The monthly projects will be shown off in class by each child and saved for their memory book. 

The reading log consists of 10 spots to write the title of each book read as well as a set of stars for the child to fill in based on how much they enjoyed the story.  At the end of the month when the reading logs have been turned in, your child will get to pick a treasure from our Reading Treasure Chest. 

 

It is my hope that you and your child find this time pleasurable and will set aside time each day to enjoy a good book.
