Grade 4-Room 12

4th

Welcome! My name is Karri Samaritano.  I have been teaching at Queen of All Saints since 2001. This year I will be teaching 4th Grade.  I started teaching 4th grade when I began teaching here at QAS. I am thrilled to to be teaching this grade again.  Fourth Grade can be a challenging but fun filled year. My goal to help your child grow into a well rounded student through the many activities and experiences we will have in the class. I am looking forward to making this a great year!

There will be a Grammar test on Unit 2-Nouns sometime next week.  It is a shorter unit.  We have one more lesson to cover and a review.  The test will be toward the end of the week.

Many students are struggling to recall multiplication quickly.  There needs to be a firm understanding of the facts especially with the next chapter being about long division.  Each Friday, there will be a multiplication timed test.  All students have a set of flashcards we worked on in class that can be practiced at school and at home.  I want ensure the students are prepared. Please practice nightly to make sure the facts are mastered.
