Welcome! My name is Karri Samaritano.  I have been teaching at Queen of All Saints since 2001. This year I will be teaching 4th Grade.  I started teaching 4th grade when I began teaching here at QAS. I am thrilled to to be teaching this grade again.  Fourth Grade can be a challenging but fun filled year. My goal to help your child grow into a well rounded student through the many activities and experiences we will have in the class. I am looking forward to making this a great year!

January 12 Snow Day

Attached is the work to complete.  I will periodically check my email until 3pm if you have any questions.
 
I hope you get to enjoy the fresh snow by making snowmen, building forts, or having a snowball fight.  I can't wait to hear about your adventures on Tuesday.  Enjoy the EXTRA long weekend!

January 11

No Homework!
 
Students were sent home with books, etc.  because of tomorrow's weather forecast.  I will post work for tomorrow on the blog along with Google Classroom.

January 9th

No Homework!
 
We enjoyed learning about snowflakes and talking about resolutions. We had Spanish class with Senor Rojas.  Spanish will be twice a week on Days 2 and 5.
 
Gym Tomorrow
 
Boots are a good thing to wear on snowy days to keep feet dry and warm.

December 20

No Homework
 
Students are bringing home work from the week along with a list of supplies that are in made of being replaced.

December 18

Math: pg. 177-178 #1-6, 10, 13-14; Test tomorrow solving the problem using any strategy from chapter
 
Science: study for test on Wednesday; 
 
STEM tomorrow

December 15

Math: test on Tuesday on Chapter 4: use any strategy to solve multiplication problems
 
Science: test on Wednesday; We have been working on a study guide with one more page left to finish on Monday.  Students should have brought it home to began reviewing. It needs to come back to school on Monday.
 
Music on Monday

*Science: read and answer questions on page 158-159; Unit 1 on Wednesday.  We will be working on a study guide to prepare for the test.
 
*Math: timed test tomorrow; test on Tuesday-know to to solve multiplication problems using any strategy learned in the chapter

Reading: complete sheet on Charlotte's Web; The copy of Charlotte's Web the students are using is a shared copy for the grade.  Students are only to use post-it notes to take notes. No writing, underlining, etc is permitted in these copies.
