Today in class we are moving on from topographic maps.  We will be looking at the annual rainfall in Boomtown.  You will be calculating the mean, median, and mode for a year in Boomtown.  You will input your answers into the assignment attached to this post.

In class we continued looking at topography maps.  Although today we looked at three different maps of Boomtown.  We are looking at how the topography of this town has changed over 100 years.  Students must complete the activity 26 analysis questions and turn them in on Friday Sep. 9.  If you need to look at the maps at home use your online book on your Lab-Aids account.  Remember your login information is the same as your I-Ready account.  To find the maps in your online book go to activity 26.  Under materials their is a list with the three maps.  To access the maps click on the orange link next to the map name.

Today in class we are working on reading topographical maps.  You will review 10 different maps and need to find the contour interval and different points on the map.  You will have today in class to work on this assignment.  The maps for this assignment are posted below.  The worksheet is also posted below, but it needs to be printed and turned in.  I will also post a short video that can help you review how to find the contour interval.
