Parents, relatives and any other “special people” are invited to surprise our class by being a Mystery Reader in our classroom this year.
**You do not have to be Virtus Certified to be a Mystery Reader**
Mystery Readers send in five clues about themselves (vague to specific), but their true identities are not revealed until they arrive at school to read to the class.
Readers are asked to bring a picture book or two to read to the class.
On the day of for Ms. Gunther’s class you will need to sign in at Mrs. Segreti's office in the Lemont Building. She will call over to the classroom to let Ms. Gunther know that the Mystery Reader has arrived. Then Mrs. Simons will meet you by the back door of the Preschool Building (It is the door that faces the Lemont Office door.)
On the day of for Mrs. Segreti’s class you will need to sign in at the Mrs. Turner’s office in the Keene Building. She will let Mrs. Segreti know the Mystery Reader has arrived.
How to Sign Up: Simply e-mail the teacher with a couple of days that work for you and we will figure out which day works best for us. Typically, a Mystery Reader will come at 11:10 for half-day, 2:20 for full day, but if you can’t make those times, we are flexible.
Don’t wait till the last minute, the end of the year gets pretty full.
