Mary Ann Gryder » Third Grade Room 11

Third Grade Room 11

Hello! and welcome to third grade. My name is Ms. Gryder and I have been teaching for 38 years. The last 19 years have been here at Queen of All Saints. I look forward to getting to know your children throughout the school year. Also, I am excited to form a partnership with you to better meet the needs of your children.

Third grade is a huge transition year, so I ask that we all be patient as rules and routines are being established.

The English test for Wednesday, November 2 has been postponed until next week. Your children can continue to study though.

Veterans Day Flags/ Walk for Hurricane Relief

Children have the opportunity bring $1 for a purchase of a flag this week. The flags will be set in the ground around the QAS campus with their Faith Partners.

Donate a $1 and wear read on Friday to benefit the Red Cross Hurricane Relief.

Important Information

Emails: I generally  will check my Emails in the morning, before class and then again after school. In between these times I am teaching or preparing for lessons, so if you need to let your child know about a different dismissal arrangement or anything else  it would be best to contact Mrs. Turner, so she can relay the information to me.

Math Facts: As you know we are currently working on multiplication and division. It is important that the children study the facts, so if you don't have flashcard you may want to buy some or you could have your children make them.
