I have downloaded a reading of the book on Seesaw.
Have your child listen to the book.
You can have your child take pictures of wacky hair styles or wacky things they create at home or outside.
I have given them some activities on Seesaw but this is to be fun not a chore. Just enjoy and be creative.
You can always continue on Splashlearn and Raz Kids at your leisure.
I just wanted our last e-learning week to be relaxed for everyone.
Don 't forget about the talent show.

Teddy Bear Activities
Some activities will be posted on Seesaw and you can come up with any creative ideas you would like with your favorite stuffed animal or Teddy bear.
Just a FUN day with a Teddy Bear or your favorite stuffed animal.
Feel free to video tape activities, such as reading to your stuffed animal, watching a movie with your stuffed animal, having a snack with your teddy, taking a walk or playing with your teddy or stuffed animal.
Share in writing what you did with your teddy or stuffed animal. I have teddy writing paper attached to this blog and it is also on Seesaw.
Enjoy your day with your favorite stuffed animal.

What? Fridays will be devoted to our Specialty classes: Spanish, STEM, Art, Music, P.E, Resource
When? 4-24; *; 5-8; 5-15; 5-22; 5-29 (please note that on 5-1 the teachers will have a professional development day and there will be NO e-learning that day)
How does this work? Students will not be assigned core-content e-learning on Specials Friday. INSTEAD, students will pick two Specials classes to focus on that day. They should visit the teacher’s blog page in order to complete activities provided there and follow the teacher’s directions for submitting the work, if applicable. The next “Specials Friday” they will choose different Specialty subjects so that they complete a range of activities. By May 29, they should have submitted two (or more) Specials activities for each subject.
Why? Queen of All Saints appreciates the whole child and offers specialty classes to promote Fine Arts, creativity, critical thinking, physical movement, etc. We want to provide time for our students to enjoy these offerings of our Specials teachers. Have fun and enjoy!
Should I only do Specials’ activities on Fridays now? You are welcome to visit the teacher blog pages and work on Specials activities anytime. Students in Grades 6, 7, and 8 should follow Mrs. Acevedo’s blog and complete activities throughout the week.

Compound Words
Have students break apart the spelling words into two words. You can use index cards or cut up paper into twenty pieces.
Write one word on one card and one on the other. Mix them up and have your child put them together into the compound word.
