STEM Outcomes
Students can:
  • ask questions that can be investigated and predict reasonable outcomes; define a problem reflecting need or want considering available materials and resources
  • generate and compare multiple solutions; identify limitations of models and use evidence-based reasoning to make adjustments
  • plan and carry out fair tests where only one variable changes at a time; evaluate methods and tools
  • analyze the data of test to identify the aspects of a model that can be changed and improved
  • apply cross-curricular connections
  • make adjustments and predictions based on observations and data to draw conclusions; compare predictions to what happened
  • collaborate with others by following agreed upon rules for discussions and carrying out assigned roles; respect or build on other ideas
