The sixth graders will focus on Ancient World History this academic year.  Students will gain an appreciation of the many diverse cultures in today’s world, as well as learning about the impact geography has had on history and the connection that exists between the two.  They will gain a better understanding of how much of what exists in the modern world evolved from developments and events in earlier time periods.  Throughout the year we will explore and discuss current events. They will also continue to work on and strengthen their geography skills. They will be reading and completing Junior Scholastic activities during the year.
