Mrs. Sheila Chovanec

Welcome to music at Queen of All Saints School! My name is Mrs. Chovanec and this is my thirty-sixth year at Queen of All Saints School. I am blessed to be a part of this school family and share my passion for music with your child. In music class we sing, play instruments and move to the music. Music concepts, such as rhythm, melody, harmony, timbre and form are introduced in the younger grades and applied in the middle and older grades. Students use unpitched percussion instruments, xylophones, recorders and ukulele and a variety of other instruments. 1:1 iPads are also used to reinforce the concepts and create and write original compositions. Each grade level will have their own page. Homework assignments can be found on the grade level page. Please make sure to locate your child's homeroom as assignments may vary from class to class.

Students and Parents:

A reminder: two music assignments are due by May 29!

For confirmation, please go to PowerSchool.

PowerSchool will reflect a grade for each assignment that your child completed. If your child has submitted two assignments, there will be a grade for each of the assignments that they chose. If there is no grade (blank) that means that they did not choose that particular assignment and does not affect the final 3rd trimester grade. If there are zeros for grades, it means that your child did not complete any of the assignments.
