6th-8th Grade Spanish

Hola! My name is Maria Acevedo-Villeda and this is my tenth year at Queens. I am from Guatemala City and I am so blessed to teach your child my native language, Spanish. I work hard to help my students succeed in acquiring a new language. I utilize technology to enhance the teaching and learning process in my classroom. I use “I Can” Spanish Curriculum designed with guidance from the NCSSFL-ACTFL Can-Do Statements.
I teach 7th grade on days 1, 2 and 3. 6th grade on days 4,5 and 6. 8th grade every day.
My goal is to help all my students succeed and to be able to understand and communicate using Spanish language.
